WHO AM I TODAY:
I am a business woman and beauty educator. Behind the scenes though, Im a hard working Kayshla. Call me Kay, a girl in love with sharing and spreading beauty, a mom of two, a woman putting in the work, doing what she’s passionate about, and praying to make her dreams become her reality.
About Kay:
Born in Cleveland, OH, to two Puerto Rican parents, I am the eldest of three daughters on my mother’s side and one of five on my father’s side. Although I was raised with extremely limited financial resources, our home was rich in love, culture, and strong values. From a young age, I was always a dreamer but also a believer. As a young adult that was soon understanding of our financial situations; I developed a motto that I to this day live by— believe in the power of hard work through that I can achieve anything.
With a childhood full of transitions, I spent much of my life between Cleveland and Tampa, Florida, before settling in Texas as an adult. Here, I built my career and a loving family of my own. My passion for beauty was nurtured early on, thanks to all my sisters, who provided endless opportunities for experimenting with skin, makeup, and all things that enhance beauty and confidence. Today, I channel my passions into empowering others, by combining my love for beauty, artistry and my unwavering belief in helping people feel their most confident selves through my services and education.
WHERE IT STARTED:
I started this dream journey in 2020. A first time mom, that was smacked in the face with a world wide pandemic while simultaneously experiencing crappy ppd. In the early months of the year 2020 I was truthfully just struggling to find beauty and light within myself and the world. I would wonder how many others could be experiencing these bleak feelings. I remember often thinking to myself “How can I help?” “How can I find and spread confidence, beauty and light?” The beauty industry called me, urgently and I responded..
I invested in my education. Became a licensed esthetician while outsourcing and investing furthermore into completing multiple certification training courses. I was not playing around!
WHATS THE PLAN?
As a business woman, beauty educator, and a Brazilian waxing pro in San Antonio, TX. it is my mission to offer EXCEPTIONAL Brazilian waxing, vagacial, lash extension and skin care services. What I haven’t disclosed up until this point is that I have also dedicated the last almost 2 years of my life in education experience specifically —the Esthetician industry. That experience has now unraveled into another path I am so incredibly passionate about..
